To ensure timely entry at Department please note:
Membership Applications are to be filled out by the new member (or returning member after 2 years).
Please verify new member and adjutant have each signed the form
and the one eligibility person on the form has legion member # unless eligibility person is deceased.
Continue to report served era and relationship of the applicant for all forms.
Transmittal forms are from the units and accompany membership applications to the Department office
at ALA Department of Washington PO Box 5867 Lacey, WA 98509
and can be turned in weekly or when the unit has 5 members.
The members should be listed by category alphabetically.
(These can be sent in by mail or send/scan/take a picture by email.)

For the year 2022-2023 each unit should submit $31.00
per member (per capita) for renewing members.
The per capita for junior members remain at $4.00.
Beginning in early July, we will begin the renewal for the 2023-2024 year.
This year has a price increase to $44.00 for senior (per capita)
and $6.00 for juniors (per capita).
The Member Data form is used for transfers (signatures please), address changes,
name changes, update to information (i.e. phone, email, address), member discontinuing,
and the death of a member (please include obituary).
The PUFL (Paid up for Life) Membership form is a way for members to have their dues
already paid each year to combat the per capita cost increases from this point forward.
Included is the table to look up the amount to be paid to National
after the member is current with this years dues.
