2023-2024 Scholarship Packet information.
Special Note:
American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Washington Units;
This Scholarship Packet is being sent out with the request that you distribute the information to your schools and to other sources, such as city libraries, where students can use the opportunities for furthering their education which only we can supply.
It is very important to distribute this information as soon as possible (hopefully before Dec); and, please follow up at least 2-3 times to ensure students are getting and using the information.
There is a letter to the units in the packet as well as a sample letter which units can adapt to themselves. PLEASE read everything over and contact your schools as well as publicize in area papers. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THE SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS KNOW THE UNITS ARE THERE AND HOW TO CONTACT THE UNIT. This packet will also be available on the Department Website.
