Dear American Legion Family and Friends,
I wanted to let you know that our 2024-2025 National President Trish Ward will be visiting our state arriving on Friday, March 14, and departing on Wednesday, March 19.
Please see the enclosed National President's RSVP flyer which lists her six meeting stops throughout the state which we hope enables you to attend and participate.
From the October 4, 2024 posting on the National ALA Website Blog "Get to know 2024-2025 ALA National President Trish Ward," she has a message that we don't want to miss:
"She's known as the creative one, the out-of-the-box thinker, the strategic planner. She often uses skills from her previous day job to help the American Legion Auxiliary grow and achieve its goals."
She has an expressed agenda to deliver "content to help units and departments have greater awareness, knowledge, and understanding how they can impact the organization at the grassroots level."
Also, the best gifts that we can give the National President would be for her projects - ALA Foundation's Veterans Project Fund (see the Challenge Deck offer) and the Auxiliary Emergency Fund.
Please share the National President's RSVP flyer with your contacts and we look forward to seeing you during her visit to our state!
Sincerely,
Diana Hagen

Celebrate Women of Service:
Consider making a tribute donation in honor of a woman who inspires you. This thoughtful gesture not only celebrates a special person but also contributes to our mission of positively impacting the lives of veterans, military, and their families.
Show your appreciation for the women who have dedicated themselves to service and volunteerism by contributing to a cause that will leave a lasting impact. Together, let's make March 8 a day to remember the impact of the ALA community. Your support can be given online here or by texting WOMAN to 1-844-940-3450.
Founded in 2007, the purpose of the American Legion Auxiliary Foundation is to assist in carrying out the educational, charitable, and other exempt purposes of the Auxiliary by raising funds for, assisting in conduct of, and providing support to the Auxiliary programs. As a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation, the ALA Foundation provides a resource to engage additional investors interested in supporting our mission. It is a way to secure our legacy and heritage of Service Not Self, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for future generations of veterans, military, and their families.
